This festival 
celebrated at the end of Navratri every year
 all over 
India.
It is a very popular 
festival all over the India.The festival took 10 days.
First 9 days involves the 
woreship of goddess Durga
.
On 10th day people celebrate Dusshera by burning the cartoon of the demon king Ravana.

It is observed on the tenth day in the hindu 
calendar month of Ashwin.
People celebrate 
Dusshera festival means 
10th day as Vijaya Dashami by organising a big 
fair or RAMLEELA where 
they show the dramatic life 
history of the lord RAMCHANDRA.

The Ramleela fair indicates the legend behind celebrating the Vijaya Dashami.
It shows the whole history
 of kidnapping of SIYA,
victory of RAMCHANDRA,and defeat and kill of demon king
 RAVANA,his son MEGHNAD and 
his brother KUMBHAKARNA.
Real people play the role of 
'Ramchandra','Laxmana','Siyamaiya' and 'Hanuman'.
However they make paper statue of RAVANA,
MEGHNAD and Kumbhakarna.
In the end,they burn all
 the statue with the sound of firecrackers.
It is a festival of lights and 
firecrackers.
During the festival everything 
was well litted and well decorated.
This festival highlights the 
victory of good over evil.
